Living microorganisms die by burning in the ozone cloud. In practice, it has been proven that water treatment with ozone provides a guaranteed antimicrobial barrier for all representatives of pathogenic microflora, including the most resistant forms of spore-forming microorganisms and viruses.

Fields of use of the systems
■ artesian water purification;
■ post-treatment of tap water;
■ treatment of water in open reservoirs and wells;
■ treatment of backwash water in swimming pools;
■ sterilization of surfaces and equipment in food enterprises;
■ sterilization, disinfection of raw materials, foods when washing with ozonized water;
■ finishing ozonation when bottling water, juices and other drinks;
■ increasing the efficiency and productivity of wastewater treatment plants;
■ purification of a blend for the preparation of vodka with a particularly mild taste.
During the operation of the station, chemical reagents and similar consumables are not used
Notes
1.Basic equipment of NIAGARA series stations purifies the water supply network water and artesian wells water from the following contaminants:
— mechanical suspensions;
— dissolved organic compounds (oil products, phenols, etc.);
— chlorine and organochlorine complexes;
— synthetic surfactants;
— spores, viruses, bacteria and other types of microorganisms;
— ions of iron, manganese and heavy metals;
— nitrites, nitrates, ammonium salts;
— almost completely eliminates color, water turbidity and extraneous odors.
2. In case of necessity to purify water from other types of contaminants (arsenic, ions of alkali and alkaline earth metals, ions of radioactive elements (137Cs, 90Sr, 60Co, Pb, Zn), etc.), increased salts norms of constant hardness (SO4–2 , Cl–), additional cleaning stages and devices are used, which are not included in the basic equpment.
3. In the case of using drinking water treatment plants of the NIAGARA series in zones with a tropical or subtropical climate, as well as in zones of man-made disasters or increased bacterial activity, the stations are additionally equipped with water and air cooling systems and continuous oxygen concentrators.
